It’s finally Autumn. The time of year I evolve from a too-sweaty-to-function pile of goo on the floor and become a fully-formed almost-functional member of society and get to wear layers. It’s cardigan weather! Now we can pivot from making small talk about how hot it is to making small talk about how cold it… Continue reading It’s Cardigan Weather!

Marvellous Mentors
Thank you to my marvellous mentors for inspiring and encouraging me to write, workout and focus on abundance this year.
I’m Feeling 2022!
“I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22. Everything will be alright if, you keep me next to you. You don’t know about me but I’ll bet you want to. Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we’re 22!” Taylor Swift “22” Yay for a new year. A chance to start… Continue reading I’m Feeling 2022!
Silver Linings Playbook
If you stay positive, you have a shot at a silver lining. Pat, Silver Linings Playbook In a year of lockdowns and lounge rooms, can you find the silver linings as we move into 2022? For me, I’ve realised there’s joy in appreciating ALL the SMALL things and Keeping It Simple Sexy (no negative self-talk… Continue reading Silver Linings Playbook
Impossible Things
Alice laughed. ‘There’s no use trying,’ she said. ‘One can’t believe impossible things’.‘I daresay you haven’t had much practice,’ said the Queen. ‘When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast’. ― Lewis Carroll I’ve had a bit of time… Continue reading Impossible Things
Soothing Spring
“I don’t fix problems, I fix my thinking. Then problems fix themselves.” Louise Hay Spring is coming. I can see the light! The sun shines, the rain showers and the flower fragrants. I won’t drink to that!
This July, I celebrate 5 years of Sobriety. Yikes and Yippee! To borrow a phrase from the current Dry July campaign-I won’t drink to that. The first time I drank, I skulled vodka and creaming soda, felt silly, got dizzy and promptly threw up red. I’d like to think my relationship with alcohol became more… Continue reading I won’t drink to that!
Marvellous March
Welcome weavers! ILY big time. As the temperature starts to descend, my inspiration to write and share seems to ascend. I think it’s something about the cardigans and cups of tea that Autumn brings. Standing in your cardigan/ Kissing in my car again/ Stopped at a streetlight/ You know I miss you (Taylor Swift “Betty”).As… Continue reading Marvellous March
Steady As She Goes
James Clear’s excellent book, “Atomic Habits”, introduced me to the idea of habit stacking. Where you stack an additional habit onto an already established one e.g. adding calf raises to your toothbrushing regime, doing stretches as your coffee brews or meditating after hitting the snooze button. Likewise, I’ve been trying to make some slow and steady improvements to my routine.
Guess who’s back?
I’m baaackk! Have missed you guyZ and bloggY. Since I’ve been gone-bloggY turned 4 and Melbournians turned 164 due to Stage 4 restrictions. I’ve decided to post whenever/wherever I’m inspired to so do (sign up to email list below for a heads up). The survey results (link to take it below if you’re yet to) showed a pretty even split between the topics you enjoy reading on WFM; Money, Sobriety/ Health, Recommendations (books, movies etc), Self-help stuff (law of attraction, mindfulness). So, I thought I’d give you a little of each to kick off the comeback.
