Vision of love

Be alert but not alarmed… I’ve discovered the “All Out 90’s” playlist on Spotify and I’m not afraid to use it! Amongst the delicious gold-covered cheese nuggets, I’ve rediscovered how Extra 90’s Mariah (those high notes!!) was and in particular “Vision of Love” is really speaking to me. I too have a vision of love that carries me through desperation…

To the one that was waiting for me: #Couple goals are everywhere and help you vibrate at the frequency of love. I look towards my smitten coupled up friends and instead of feeling jelly or vomity, I try to use it as reassuring proof that healthy happy relationships are a possibility and a reality. “That’s me for me” I say as I smile at couples entwined that pass me by, they’re usually oblivious in their love bubble or else they might think I’m keen to be a thruple. I tear out pics of celebrity couples and put them in my vision box, or in cupboards and drawers so I’m regularly getting lovey-dovey visions and feelings in a way that doesn’t interfere with my minimalist aesthetic. My fave #couplegoals couple is Zoë Foster Blake and Hamish Blake. They’re talented, gorgeous, loved-up and hilarious. A-hoy!

It took so long, Still I believed, Somehow the one that I needed, Would find me eventually: Mariah makes a great point here about the importance of continuing to believe and staying in the loved-up state of attraction in spite of dodgy dates and celebrity break-ups (Pete and Ariana-sniff!). Learn to pivot away fast from disappointment and disbelief in whatever way you can (90’s love songs/ ‘Love Actually’/ photos of yourself ‘with’ celeb hotties). Because if we practice feeling love, “we’re laying down new neurological tracks (in the present moment) that literally change our brain to look like the brain of our future. In other words, the brain starts to look like the future we want to create has already happened” (Dr Joe Dispenza).

I’ve realized a dream, And I visualized, The love that came to be: Mariah has come through with the goods again about the importance of visualising the life you want. And she has back up from a little thing called science and a Doctor, Joe Dispenza. I’ve been doing his morning and evening meditations recently and they’re ace. Over to him for more, “The best way to predict your future is to create it, not from the known but from the unknown. What thoughts do you want to fire and wire in your brain? What behaviours do you want to demonstrate in one day? The active rehearsing, then mentally closing your eyes and rehearsing the action.” So, excuse me while I actively rehearse a day filled with joy, love, JT and Bublé.

And I’ll be eternally grateful, Holding you so close to me: It has a happy ending for Mariah guyz. She found the one she had been dreaming and visualising of and she didn’t forget the important step of being grateful and receptive.

I’ll leave you with this: I had a vision of love, And it was all that you’ve given to me
I had a vision of love, And it was all that you turned out to be
.

Love and light and incredibly high notes and high vibes xxx Yvette

P.s: Who does #couplegoals best: Zoë Foster Blake and Hamish Blake or Me and Michael Bublé?
